Larry L. Wernimont

Larry Wernimont, 52, of Colona, Illinois, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

There will be no services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

He was born April 16, 1963, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Leo and Margaret (Fortman) Wernimont. He married Kathy Neely on August 7, 2015, in Silvis, Illinois. He was a carpenter in the area for many years.

Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Colona; two daughters, Nicole and Elizabeth Wernimont; step-sons, John Miller and Anthony Vance; siblings, Cindy, Bob, Gary, and Jeff; and close friends, Loreen and Alysha Frazer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
