Kristopher Lorber

Kristopher Lorber, 31, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.

Burial is 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet in the parking lot at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kristopher Travis Maurice Lorber was born October 7, 1994, the son of Lance and Kimberly (Hudgins) Lorber. He worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car for the past 13 years.

Kris had a passion for gaming and anime, and he especially loved Halo and anything related to Star Wars. He had a natural talent for games, often mastering them quickly and becoming a formidable competitor among friends. Beyond his hobbies, Kris was known for his generous spirit and kind heart. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, never asking for anything in return. He will be remembered as a man full of love, compassion, and selflessness.

Kris is survived by his loving father, Lance Lorber; five siblings, Jonathan Lorber, Joshua Lorber, Lucas (Lynn) Lorber, Mariann Lorber, and Michael Lorber; his grandmother, Cheryl Davis-Enuka of Flowery Branch, Georgia; grandfather, Tony Lorbre of Muscatine, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Tamela (Kevin) Nelson, Holly (Jonathan) Redman, Janet (Robert) Dangerfield, Robyn (Kenneth) Townsend, and Sheri (Kenneth) Stranger, and Trisha and Toni Lorber; and many good friends, cousins, and extended family, including his cousin, Jeremy Nelson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Lorber; grandfather, Robert Hudgins; and grandmother, Linda Lorber.
