Krissie D. Carruthers

Krissie D. Carruthers, 46, of East Moline, Illinois, passed Friday, April 24, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.

Krissie Denise Carruthers was born on November 23, 1979, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Ceasar). She graduated from Joliet Township High School.

She was an amazing cook, and didn’t have complaints about anything she made. She enjoyed watching Law & Order SUV and Chicago PD.

Krissie is survived by her children, Kaleb and Kyler Carruthers of Evanston, Illinois, and Mary and Mariyah Carruthers of Rock Island, Illinois; one grandchild; father, Paul Carruthers of Rock Island, Illinois; brother, Kris (Vikkie) Carruthers of East Moline, Illinois; and nieces, Lily, Amiyah, Mari, Moe, Anissya, and Jamel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Carruthers and her brother, Kevin Carruthers.
