Kenneth Turner

Kenneth J. Turner, 91, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, December 30, 2023, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. A private family gathering will be held at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, prior to the burial. 

Kenneth Joseph Turner was born November 7, 1932, in Haines City, Florida, to Charles and Flora Turner.  He married Barbara Sweeton on December 29, 1954.  He was employed at Case IH for many years before retiring in 1991. Ken loved nature and the outdoors, animals and dogs, deer hunting, and four-wheelers.

Ken is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara; a daughter, Carolyn Cox of Canton, Michigan; a son, Tim Turner of Moline; four grandchildren; and siblings, Lois Hayes of Utah, and Douglas Turner of Texas.  He was preceded in death by a son, Eddy Turner, and a son-in-law, Craig Cox.
