Keith R. Winters, 92, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Centennial Rehab & Healthcare, Moline.

Private graveside services will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Keith Winters was born May 11, 1928, in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Cyrus "Dudley" and Rose (Henze) Winters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and graduated from Michigan State University following the war. Keith married Betty Jane McMillen of Freeport in April 1951. He went on to become a real estate broker and home builder in the Quad Cities for over 40 years. He was a member of the Quad City Realtors Association.

Keith enjoyed going to Hawkeye football and basketball games at the University of Iowa for several years, as well as following his Michigan State Spartans in those sports. He liked to read mysteries, thrillers and books about history. Keith enjoyed traveling to our national parks and to Europe. He traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England and France.

Keith was preceded in death by Betty Jane Winters in 2009. He is survived by a son, Mark Winters of Moline, a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mike Wohlgemuth of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, and two grandsons, Bill Wohlgemuth of Davenport, Iowa, and Jeff Wohlgemuth, currently in South Korea.
