Kay E. Henry

Kay E. Henry, 67, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Sunday, September 4, 2022, at River Crossing of Moline, Moline, Illinois.

A gathering to celebrate Kay’s life will be 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Kay Ellen Harkless was born July 5, 1955, in Rock Island, the daughter of Arthur Anthony Sr. and Marianna (Anderson) Harkless. She had been with her longtime companion, Gary Boeh, for over 20 years. She worked for Maid-Rite in Milan, Illinois, for many years.

Kay is survived by two daughters, Brandy (David Rhodes) Imel of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Christine (Darran) Katz of Louisiana; a granddaughter, Kyleejo Gress; her companion, Gary Boeh of Rock Island; and siblings, Orphajean Hasson, Ruth Harkless, and Arhtur Harkless, Jr., all of Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Barbara Harkless, Linda Walsh, Richard Harkless, Sr., Johnny Harkless, and Reginald Harkless.
