Kathy L. Breecher

Kathy L. Breecher, age 70, of Moline, Illinois, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior in July of 2026.

A celebration of Life will take place on October 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. Cremation took place prior to services at Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran or to TLC (The Literacy Connection).

Kathy was born in Missouri to her loving parents, Ronald L. and Reda L. (Barks) Henson. Her family later moved to Milan, Illinois, where Kathy spent her childhood in the Ginger Hill neighborhood. It was there that she formed a lifelong friendship with Jackie Greg, a bond that would last for decades.

She attended Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Milan, followed by Edison Junior High and Rock Island High School. Kathy continued her education at Black Hawk College, where she proudly earned her diploma and degree as a legal assistant. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran LCMC Church in Moline.

Kathy married the love of her life, Kent Breecher, in a beautiful ceremony at the historic First Methodist Church in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kathy is now reunited with her beloved parents; sisters, Patty Hoffman and Ronna Moreno; son, Jeremy Frakes; and daughter, Britany Mattingly, all of whom she deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her ever-loving husband, Kent Breecher; brother, Chuck (Jean) Henson of Milan; and brother, Terry (Nick) Henson of Chicago.
