Karen E. Dooley, 67, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Illinois.
Services to celebrate Karen’s life will be held at a future date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.
The former Karen Elizabeth Haley was born December 19, 1954, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Betty (Tatum) Haley.
She worked as a server at several area establishments over the years. She enjoyed gardening and mushroom hunting, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals’ fan.
Karen is survived by her beloved partner of over 28 years, Merlyn Wirth; three children, Tommy Parker, Mary Dooley, and Scott Dooley; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Matheus of Hardin, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.
