Julie K. Weaver, 67, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at home.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. The Rev. Randall Golter will officiate. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Corder Lutheran Cemetery, Corder, Missouri, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, Kansas City, Missouri.
The former Julie Kay Cooper was born June 7, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert and Ruth (Stuenkel) Cooper. She graduated from Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri, and was proud to have played the organ at Peace Lutheran Church in her younger years. She married Floyd E. “Eddie” Weaver II on August 17, 1974, in Kansas City. He died February 16, 2020.
She was the administrative assistant to the CEO of Genesis Medical Center, as well as board secretary, for many years, retiring in 2019. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa.
Julie is survived by three children, Christine (Kolter Feehan) Weaver, Jared Weaver, and Jereme (Jamie) Weaver; grandchildren, Alexander, Shelby, Jackson, Gabriel, Landon and Lucas; her mother, Ruth Cooper of Raytown; and a brother, Bruce Cooper of Warrensburg, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cooper.
