Judy A. Meston

Judy A. Meston, 75, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Friday, April 6, 2018, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Judy Ann Swift was born August 17, 1942, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Cornwall) Swift. She married Stanley Meston on June 19, 2000, and he preceded her in death.

Judy was an office manager in the medical field for 30 years. She loved working crossword puzzles, reading books, camping, and fishing. She was a friend of Bill W. for 20 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Deb (Chad) Wickard of Rock Island; a son, Scott (Cecelia) Bauer of Moline; six grandchildren, Brittany Ranson, Tiffany and Courtney Wickard, Bradley and Brandon Bauer, and Heather Willis; a great-granddaughter, Madison; and a sister, Janet Swift of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Swift.
