Judith L. Edwards, 67, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, June 20, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, surrounded by her husband and 5 children.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Judith Lynn Clifton was born November 4, 1956, in Missouri, the daughter of Franklin and Ruth (Cowan) Clifton. She married the love of her life, Jeffery Edwards, on September 25, 2004, in Rock Island. 

 She retired from Stefanini as a Voip Network Technician. She loved music and cherished her time spent at rock festivals and concerts with her husband, Jeff. She also enjoyed the simple things in life, including scrapbooking and needlepoint. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Judy, especially her beloved children and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; children, Rachel Boatman of Quincy, Illinois, Sarah (Melvin) Rimer of Edina, Missouri, Kara Johnson of Kirksville, Missouri, Mike Hooks and Robert (Alena) Edwards, both of Milan, Illinois; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Stephen Clifton of Edina and Gregory Clifton of Milan. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Theresa Sanders.
