Thelma Josie Schunter, 80, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, March 27, 2009, in Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.
Committal services will be held at a later date at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Handicapped Development Center, Davenport. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
She was born September 5, 1928, to Earl and Mina (Hungerford) Walker, and married William Schunter on March 7, 1948, in Clinton. He died May 10, 1990.
She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Reinhart of Moline and Barbara Taylor of LeClaire; a granddaughter, Josie Dorthia Sims of LeClaire; and a sister, Darlene Sager of Blaine, Washington.
