Joseph Walker, 72, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
There will be no public services. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
Joseph Leroy Walker was born January 25, 1937, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Duffy J and Rachel Berneice (Collins) Walker.
He worked as a press operator for J.I. Case, East Moline. Golfing was his life. He was a member of the East End and Svithiod Clubs of Moline.
Joseph is survived by sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Johns of New Baltimore, Michigan, and Betty and Bruce Furnald of Silvis, Illinois, brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Jane Walker of Moline, and John and Helen Walker of Eddyville, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.
