Jonathan H. Tollerud

Jonathan H. Tollerud, 56, of Silvis, Illinois, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Aperion Care, East Moline, Illinois.

Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline.

He was born July 31, 1962, in Moline, the son of James and Minerva (Hahn) Tollerud. He was a chef for over 30 years at various area restaurants including Village Inn and Denny's.

He enjoyed having cookouts and gatherings with friends and family, and enjoyed cooking with his boys.

Jonathan is survived by four children, Destiny Bell of Orlando, Florida, and Austin, Zachary and Jonathan Tollerud, all of Silvis; siblings, Teresa Poma of Rock Island, Grace Husky of Moline, Harold Tollerud of Globe, Arizona, and Dan Tollerud of Florida; an uncle, Daniel (Patricia) Tollerud of Rock Island; and the mother of his daughter, Destiny Bell, and the mother of his three sons, Patti Anderson of Silvis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
