John H. Higby

John H. Higby, 85, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Citadel of Sterling, Sterling, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

John Herbert Higby was born May 30, 1939, in Sterling, Illinois, the son of Herbert and Mary (Anderson) Higby.

John is survived by four children, Lisa (Bud) LeFevre of Sterling, Leslie (Dave) Thorngren of LeClaire, Iowa, Grayson (Trisha) Higby of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Brett Higby of Spanish Fort, Alabama; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Julie Higby.
