Jerry L. Dyson, 78, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport.
Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.
Jerry Lee Dyson was born June 15, 1945, in Mount Olive, North Carolina, the son of Maggie Dyson and Jerry Lee Oates. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Julia, Courtney, Sharon, Pamela, and Lisa; three sisters; and a host of grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Anthony; a brother and a sister.
