Moline, Illinois Jeanne F. Rohwer, 76, of Moline, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Moline, with The Reverend Alfred Koschade officiating. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to an education fund for her granddaughter, Stephanie. The former Jeanne Samuelson was born October 14, 1927, in Moline, the daughter of Arvid L. and Jessie (Stroud) Samuelson. She married Richard C. Rohwer on January 8, 1949, in Moline. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Newcomers Club, and enjoyed quilting, doll making, and crafts. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Terry Bender of Milan; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Rohwer of Geneseo; a granddaughter, Stephanie Rohwer of Geneseo; step-granddaughters, Jennifer Selby and her husband Chris of Urbana, Illinois, Amy Bender of Rock Island, and Sarah Bender of Schaumberg, Illinois; and a step-great-granddaughter, Emma Selby.
