Jane Elizabeth Albert (Stewart), age 63, passed away on March 17th, 2026 at her home in Bettendorf surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jane was born on October 12th, 1962 to Kenneth and Barbara (Eckelberry) Stewart in Davenport, Iowa. Jane graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1980 and dedicated over 15 years to working in the Bettendorf School District. Jane poured her heart into caring for her two sons, Matt and Logan.
Jane was an avid sports fan and a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs. When she wasn’t watching the Cubs, she was watching one of many classic TV shows including the Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote, and Matlock. Jane was loved by many for her red hair and fiery spirit. She was famous for her signature orange Jello and taco salad, which were staples at every family gathering. She loved spending time with her grand-dogs, and her friends. Jane was fiercely loyal to those she loved.
Jane leaves behind her husband Rickie Albert of 32 years; son, Matt (Karri) Albert, grand dogs Boog and Comet, and soon to be grandchild of Bettendorf; son, Logan Albert of Bettendorf; brother, Craig Stewart of Cedar Rapids, IA; and sisters, Christina (Michael) Bell of Clinton, IA and Kimberly (Dereck) Hatcher of Novato, CA.
