Jacob T. Sharp, 30, of Moline, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at home.
A private gathering to celebrate Jake’s life will be held. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Robert Young Mental Health Center.
Jacob Thomas Sharp was born November 8, 1994, in Germany, the son of David Allen and Rosario (Almero) Sharp.
A world traveler from a young age, Jake found joy and purpose in connecting with people across cultures. He worked as a cook and waiter in restaurants throughout the Quad Cities, as well as in Anchorage, Alaska, and Kuwait. He also served customers locally at Walgreens.
A born again Christian, Jake had a deep love for music, cooking, and forming genuine connections with those around him. His adventurous spirit and kind heart left a lasting impression on many.
He is survived by his mother, Rosario Sharp; his cousin, Aime Butterfield; his grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Sharp; aunts and uncles, Rocel Cambray, Brian (Diane) Sharp, Craig (Connie) Sharp, and Pam (Mike) Johnson, and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, David Sharp; and grandmother, Cecilia Barchlett.
