Jack A. Ousley, 84, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at home.
A hospitality gathering with food and drinks will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Jack’s memory.
Jack was born January 16, 1938, in Ava, Missouri. He married Diane Spencer on September 7, 1974, in Rock Island, Illinois. He worked at Eagle’s Grocery Store for many years as a meat-cutter.
He enjoyed biking, walking, restoring old vehicles, and was a collector of John Deere and Nascar memorabilia.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; five sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Ousley of Moline, John (BeAnn) Ousley of Camdenton, Missouri, Greg (Kaye) Quick of Davenport, Steve Quick of Colona, and Danny (Nancy) Ousley of Camdenton; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to everyone at UnityPoint Hospice and the surgical unit staff at UnityPoint Rock Island for the wonderful care given to Jack.
