Hunter Parke Marshall, 91, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Genesis Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Hunter was born May 3, 1932, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Ether and Elizabeth (Breedlove) Marshall. He married Jeneane Poch on March 25, 1951, in Atlantic, Iowa. He worked at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 35 years, with his last job within the company being a Construction Supervisor. He was a member of Bettendorf Presbyterian Church, he served as Alderman at large for Bettendorf, was a member of Lions Club, and volunteered for 15 years at CASA. In his free time Hunter enjoyed golfing, sailing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Hunter is survived by his wife, Jeneane Marshall; his children, Deborah (Jim) Egger, Michael (Ann) Marshall, Julie Avant, Lisa (Jeffrey) Pauley, and Lori (Joe) Meinhardt; his sister, Sue Petsche (George); 17 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Dick Marshall.
