Glenn H. Gadberry, Jr.

Glenn H. Gadberry, Jr., 87, of Geneseo, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial is in North Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorials may be made to Geneseo Aisle of Flags.

Glenn Henry Gadberry was born July 31, 1937, in Powersville, Missouri, the son of Glen Henry “Frank” and Hazel (Rash) Gadberry. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and went on to work over 34 years for John Deere Harvester. He married the love of his life, Betty Anne Elizabeth Beauseigneur, on July 3, 1970.

Glenn enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling in his younger years. He also loved working in his yard and anything to do with John Deere or the St. Louis Cardinals. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Glenn, and he especially treasured time spent with his wife, sons and grandsons.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin and Amy Gadberry of Atkinson, Illinois, and Gale Gadberry of LeClaire, Iowa; two grandsons, Cole and Aiden Gadberry; a daughter, Cathy, of California; and siblings, Lorane (Clint) Ford, Betty (Verlin) Angel, Dollie (John) Accola, Jim Gadberry, and Billy (Bonnie) Gadberry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Elizabeth “Ann” Gadberry, Frankie (Sandy) Gadberry, and D. Darlene (George) Dooley.
