Gayl Ann P. Dieleman

Gayl Ann P. Dieleman, 80, of Moline, Illinois, passed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

A memorial service will be announced in the near future. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Gayl Ann Patricia Dieleman was born on September 15, 1945, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Orie and Virginia (Stephens) Michaels. She graduated from Moline High School and was united in marriage to Gary Dieleman in 1965 in Moline, Illinois. Gayl worked for many years as an office assistant, a role she carried out with dedication and care.

She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Moline, Illinois. In her free time, she found great joy in reading and crocheting.

Gayl is survived by her beloved siblings, Luise McKinney of Milan, Illinois, Linda Michaels of Moline, Illinois, Kathy Martens of Alpha, Illinois, Randi (Rodger) Weis of Springfield, Missouri, Kevin Michaels of Milan, Illinois, Kollin (Lisa) Michaels of East Moline, Illinois, Kelly Michaels of Alpha, Illinois, and Karla (Richard) McKee of Louisville, Tennessee; and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
