Frederick G. Rogers

Frederick G. Rogers, 71, of Moline, Illinois, formerly of McDonough, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Frederick George Rogers was born on May 18, 1955, in Reno, Nevada. A proud veteran, he served his country in the United States Army for 17 years. Following his military service, he began a career in security, working for Wackenhut Corporation, later known as G4S Secure Solutions, where he was respected for his dedication and professionalism.

He found great joy in the outdoors, especially enjoying fishing, spending time on his porch, and appreciating life's simple pleasures. He valued peace and quiet and loved traveling the world with his family.

Fred is survived by four children, Christopher Rogers of Moline, Frederick G. Rodgers, Jr. of Georgia, Michael Rogers of Ohio, and Tasha Rogers of Florida; eight grandchildren; and his sister, Kristen Levis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
