Eugene J. Mioletti, Jr.

Eugene “Gene” J. Mioletti Jr., 75, of Morrison, Illinois, passed Friday, June 19, 2026 at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Eugene Joseph Mioletti Jr. was born on August 22, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois the son of Eugene and Virgina (Russet) Mioletti, Sr. Following his graduation from high school, Gene proudly enlisted in the United States Army. After completing his military service, he continued serving his country as a member of the National Guard for 20 years. He also dedicated 10 years as a volunteer firefighter. Eventually, Gene settled on a farm in Morrison, which became the place he proudly called home throughout his retirement years.

Gene married Claudia Kiesow on February 17, and together they shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. They loved life on their hobby farm, where no two days were ever the same. Whether tending to projects around the property or caring for the animals, they enjoyed working side by side. Gene was always fixing something around the house or farm. He enjoyed cooking, often with mixed results, and liked trying his hand at sewing. He was also a talented artist who especially enjoyed drawing.

Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Emmons; and his sisters, Sissy and Jenny. He was preceded in death by his parents.
