Eric K. Woodard

Eric K. Woodard, 66, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island of natural causes.

Eric was born March 3, 1959, in Davenport, Iowa, to Truman and Jeannette (Lieberknecht) Woodard. He graduated from Moline High School, where he played tennis, and after high school, attended the University of Iowa. He spent much of his working life in Indianapolis and Minneapolis in the printing and direct mail business. In recent years he retired to Florida. Eric loved music, fine wine and beautiful rugs and his collections were his most prized possessions. He also loved college football, cheering for Alabama and the University of Iowa. Eric will be remembered for his sense of humor and detailed, sometimes too detailed, story telling.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by siblings Missy (Bill) Bailey of Ely, Minnesota, Craig (Sue) Woodard of Moline, and Nick Woodard of Port Byron, and many nieces and nephews.

Private burial will be in Moline Memorial Park with a family gathering in the Spring.
