Clearwater, Florida Graveside services for Ella L. Parkkinen, 86, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Norwood, will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Norwood Cemetery, Norwood, Illinois. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Ella died on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at Manor Care, Palm Harbor, Florida. Ella was born January 4, 1916 in Norwood, IL to George and Lucile Campbell Pittard. She married Elmer Parkkinen. After her marriage Ella moved to Des Plaines, IL were she was a lifelong teacher. After retiring in 1975, Ella and Elmer moved to Clearwater, Florida. Elmer preceded her in death. Ella is survived by several nieces and nephews.
