Eleanor Janet Freeman

Eleanor Janet Freeman, age 81, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away on July 16, 2025, at Harmony, Davenport. 

According to her wishes cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, IL, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Eleanor was born on July 21, 1943, in Opp, AL, to Winfred and Vonicle (Barfott) Peavy. She was united in marriage to Raymond Freeman, on January 7, 1964, in Montgomery, AL. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2019.

Eleanor was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Weber; friends, Brian and Margo Sparbel, and Bonnie Walden.
