Edward F. Harding

Edward F. Harding, 81, of Davenport, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, in his residence.

Private graveside services will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Ed was born January 1, 1935, in Newton, Iowa, the son of Jay and Marie (Franklin) Harding. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Most recently, he owned and operated a custodial company.

He was a gifted artist, specializing in painting and chalk drawing. He enjoyed listing to jazz music.

Ed is survived by two sisters, June Sauser of Davenport, and Rosemarie Paradee of Suffolk, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several siblings.
