Edna F. Sanders

Rock Island, Illinois Services for Edna Fyrne Sanders, 90, of Rock Island, are 11 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Dr. Robert Miller, First Congregational Church, Moline, will officiate. Private burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The former Edna Fyrne Fenton was born August 11, 1912, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the daughter of William and Mabel Ruth (Young) Fenton. She married J. E. Sanders on October 25, 1930, in Oregon, Illinois. He died January 21, 1985. She had been a bookkeeper and receptionist for Dr. Mangelsdorf, and had worked at the former Block and Kuhl store in Moline. She is survived by a son-in-law, Robert Stablein Sr. of Edgewood, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Robert Stablein Jr., Dan Stablein, and Gloria Clay; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Fenton of Mt. Pleasant, and Lewis Fenton of Washington, Iowa; and special friends, Sharon Olds of Rock Island, and Frank Stablein of Moline.
