Dustin Earl Blaszczyk, 32, of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at home.
Services are 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Dustin’s memory.
Dustin was born August 20, 1991, in Moline, the son of Angela Carnahan and Charles Blaszczyk.
He enjoyed skateboarding, Dragon Ball Z, fishing, riding motorcycles, and being outside. He also was known to fall asleep to the movie “Rango” and was a skilled weightlifter who participated in strongman competitions.
Dustin was a truly caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Dustin and he loved nothing more than hanging out with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Angela Carnahan of Moline, and Charles and Michelle Blaszczyk of Cambridge, Illinois; his son, Corbin Loterbauer; siblings, Cierra (Steven) Blaszczyk, Gavin Denney, Lindsey (Allen) Myers, and Alexandria (Chris) Casey; and grandparents, Bill and Donna Thomas, Guy and Rhonda Carnahan, Carol Halligan and Earl Hipkins. Also left to cherish Dustin’s memory are many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd Parrish, Sandra Hipkins, and Bill Leggett.
Dustin, our family pirate, will forever be remembered as the best brother, father, son, grandson, and friend.
