Dorothy A. DeMink, 90, of Moline, Illinois died Friday, November 7, 2025, in her daughter’s home in Silvis, Illinois.

A funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. The Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, followed by visitation until 7 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.

The former Dorothy Agnes Wilson was born November 5, 1935, in Rock Island, Illinois, to John L. and Anna (Geris) Wilson. She graduated from Alleman High School, and married Raymond E. DeMink, Jr. on September 11, 1954, in Moline. He died May 27, 2009. She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed canning and watching golf on television.

Dorothy is survived by six children and spouses, Anna Erickson of Silvis, Raymond D DeMink of Rock Island, Chris and Jean DeMink of Sherrard, Theresa Peterson of Moline, J. Matthew DeMink of Colona, and Paul and Tara DeMink of Ottawa, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Laure DeMink of Moline; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lolita Schlapfer of Coal Valley, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her son, Leon DeMink; a daughter-in-law, Molly DeMink; two sons-in-law, Greg Peterson and Fred Erickson; and siblings, Margaret Mary Reedy, Joan Wilson, Helen Jorgenson, William J, Wilson, and John Wilson.
