Doris A. North

Doris A. North, 76, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Monday, February 24, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Doris Ann Clewis was born May 18, 1948, in Evansville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Richard and Doris (Peters) Clewis. 

She is survived by three daughters, Dawn (Scott) Olman, Kyna North, and Melantha (Scott) Kresin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her significant other, Steven Hockey; and her sister, Hazeldel (David) Heytman. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
