Obituary

Dorien Frederick Cannon was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois, on June 6, 2003, to Sharron Jackson and DeAndre Cannon. He lived a life full of love, energy, enthusiasm, and an indomitable spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He passed away April 22, 2026.

Visitation is 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, immediately followed by a hospitality gathering from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dorien attended United Township High School in Moline, Illinois, where he proudly graduated. He later worked at Taco Bell, where he truly enjoyed his job and built meaningful friendships with his coworkers, who became like family to him.

Dorien was known for his bright personality, kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. He carried himself with strength and determination, always facing life with courage and a smile. In his free time, he enjoyed going on walks, playing video games, and playing and goofing off with his siblings.

He deeply cherished his family and friends, and the bonds he created will never be broken. His love was genuine, and his loyalty was unwavering. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, his warmth, and the happiness he shared.

Dorien Frederick Cannon leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Sharron Jackson and DeAndre Cannon; his siblings, De’Seandrea Cannon, Makalia Cannon, Raahsaan Brown, Jamel Kellogg, Javante Traylor, Davante Jackson, DeAndre Cannon Jr., Deangelo Cannon, Jaylynn Cannon; his nieces and nephews, Da’shaya, Lyrik, Davante Jr., Da’Money, Jayla, Jamel, Ramiah Raahsaan III, and Raahmeir; his grandparents, Carmelita Jackson Williams, Ladell Williams, and Steven Stansbury; his aunts and uncles, Shanta Jackson Walker, Rosa Beckon, Ira L. Williams, Rocky Cannon, Lawrence Cannon, and Kyle Cannon; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Theresa Cannon; his sister, Amiracle Cannon; and his brother, Desean Cannon.

Though his time with us was far too short, Dorien’s legacy of love, strength, and resilience will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
