Derek J. Spears, 51, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, in ManorCare Davenport.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, Illinois. Private burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery.
Derek was born October 28, 1965, to Daniel and Nora Volner Spears. He served in the US Marine Corps and worked at Douglas in Mt. Joy.
He is survived by siblings, Jim Spears Of Farmington, Iowa, Tami Stewart of Davenport, and Jackie Lawson of Blue Grass.
