Dennis M. Brownfield

Dennis M. Brownfield, 71, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, September 25, 2025, at home.

Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery, where the Vietnam Veterans of the Quad Cities will present military honors. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.

Dennis Michael Brownfield was born December 16, 1954, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Bert and Betty (McNall) Brownfield. He graduated from Moline High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by two sisters, Petty Dean of Moline and Arlene Duff of Silvis, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steven Bert Brownfield; and ½ sister, Avis Jean Hicks.
