Visitation is 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Friends are encouraged to dress casually in their favorite sports team apparel, we all know how much he loved his Hawkeyes! In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adrienne Bone for a fund to be established in Chris’ memory.

Christopher Michael Bone was born February 15, 1979, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of James Gilbert and Angelika “Angie” (Schroeder) Bone. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 1997 and went on to earn his degree from St. Ambrose University in 2002. He married his soul mate, Adrienne Shaw, on October 23, 2021, in Moline.

Chris was a member of Pathway Church, Moline, and was a devoted Christ follower. He was a jack of all trades, with his career centering on the food service, bar, and music industries. He owned bars, helped run Buffalo Wild Wings, was a radio DJ known as “Chris Michaels” for several stations including WLLR, and most recently was self-employed in roofing/siding. He was getting ready to launch a new business adventure in the coming days.

He was the epitome of the word “selfless”. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He did a lot of charity work, volunteered, and helped with fundraisers. He was known to donate meals at Thanksgiving and helped to make Christmas special for many families in need. He enjoyed traveling and going to concerts, eating out, and was a huge sports fan, especially of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. He was also a huge animal lover.

Chris is survived by the love of his life, Adrienne; his father and step-mother, James and Cathy Bone of Sherrard, Illinois; his sister, Cheryl Lynn Bone of Germany; a step-son, William Blender; step-siblings, Ryan Willers and Angela Willers; his aunt and uncles, Connie and Delbert Nicely, and Dennis Bone; cousins, Jane Stout and John Neely; Adrienne’s parents, Dennis and Natalie Dochterman of Sherrard, and Nancy Shaw of Waterloo, Iowa; Adrienne’s siblings, Alicia (Rodney) Rogers, Kelly (Seth) Goode, Dennia (Tom) Bell, Andy (Emily) Dochterman, and Nick (Tina) Schuhmacher; his beloved cats, Biggins, Tom, Lily, Bella and Mittens; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Bone; father-in-law, Mike Shaw; and step-brother, Scott Willers.
