Cheryl Oaks, 75, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, April 30, 2023, in her residence.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be in David Memorial Park, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The former Cheryl Lee Burns was born June 13, 1947, in Fort Fairfield, Maine, to Frank Wesley and Lavina May (Willett) Burns. She married Burton Earl Oakes, Jr., on October 10, 1969, in New Brunswick, Canada. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, Troy Oakes of Davenport, and Jeffery Oakes of San Antonio, Texas, and her daughter-in-law, Penny Wheeler of Davenport.
