Charles T. Hammond

East Moline, Illinois Charles T. Hammond, 73, of East Moline, formerly of Moline and Colchester, Illinois, died Friday, February 11, 2005, in Parkview Health Care Center, East Moline. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005, in Hutchinson Cemetery, rural Colchester. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family. Charles Thomas Hammond was born February 27, 1931, in Prairie City, Illinois, the son of Jarius and Ava (Lyons) Hammond. He married Donna Copeland, who preceded him in death. He was a laborer for Miller Brothers Concrete, Macomb, for 30 years. He loved country music. Charles is survived by three children, Marilyn Search of Augusta, Illinois, Darla Bolander of Plymouth, Illinois, and Brian Hammond of Carthage, Illinois, four grandchildren; sisters, Lula M. Ruark of Denver, Colorado, and Annie Parker of Bushnell, Illinois; and nieces and nephews.
