Carolyn A. Molina, 65, of Moline, Illinois, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at home.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Mark DeSutter officiating. Burial is in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with a Rosary service at 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Mayo Clinic.

The former Carolyn Ann McGrath was born December 27, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Nancy (Vogel) McGrath. She was united in marriage to Agustin “Augie” Molina on December 5, 1981, in Rock Island.

Carolyn dedicated over 26 years of her career as a driver and courier with FedEx. Following her time there, she continued with FBG Facility Services until her retirement earlier this year.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially reading, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family. She made the best enchiladas. Carolyn was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud and adoring grandmother whose grandchildren brought her endless joy.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Augie; three children, Anthony Molina of Silvis, Illinois, Melissa (Carl) Hurley of Chicago, Illinois, and Jay (Andi) Molina of Omaha, Nebraska; eight grandchildren, Taelyr-Marie Molina, Anelise Deevers, Emalee Molina, Anthony Molina, Jr., Ebbey Molina, Ava Molina, Aliya Molina, and Javy Molina; siblings, Dennis (Patty) McGrath, Susan Carranza, Julie (Tom) Losasso, Tim (Kathy) Whitty, Larry (Kathy) Whitty, and Kristal (Oguz) Ersan; sister-in-law, Michele McGrath; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McGrath; her mother and step-father, Nancy and Joe Whitty; brothers, Michael McGrath and Robert McGrath; and brother-in-law, Jesus Carranza.
