Carolyn I. Anthony

Carolyn I. Anthony, 77, of Davenport, Iowa, passed on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Carolyn Irene Stottler was born on May 28, 1948, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Mason and Irene (Dalton) Stottler. She graduated from high school and went on to earn her certification as a hearing audiologist. Prior to her retirement, Carolyn worked with Davenport Hearing Aid Center in the Quad Cities and Beltone in Florida.

She found joy in simple pleasures in life’s quiet moments, especially spending time reading and watching scary movies with family or drinking coffee on the porch.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Michelle White of Davenport, Iowa, and Michael White of Stronghurst, Illinois; grandchildren, Taylor Rhodes, Kennedy Rhodes, Alex White, Josie O'Boyle, Jacob White, Lauren White , and Madison Hay; great-grandchildren, Marlee, Norah, and many others; and her sister, Sheila (Brad) Summers of Buffalo, Iowa and their extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Joshua Davis.

The family would like to thank the staff who cared for Carolyn at MercyOne Genesis ICU, Heartland Hospice, and Good Samaritan.
