For more than 16 years, Carolina was a dedicated employee of AVG Automation. She took great pride in her work and, through the years, formed many dear friendships with her co-workers.
Carolina’s faith was an important part of her life. She was a devoted member of Templo Elim Asamblea De Dios Hispana in Rock Island, where she was known for her joyful spirit and her love of dancing. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She had a special place in her heart for the children of the church, taking many of them under her wing and becoming a mother figure to them.
Carolina loved to dance, and her joy was contagious whenever music began to play. She also enjoyed walking and gardening, finding happiness in the simple moments of life. But above everything else, family was Carolina’s greatest treasure. She cherished every moment with her husband, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and extended family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and the love she had for them was evident in everything she did.
Those left to cherish Carolina’s memory include her parents, Juan and Juana; her loving husband, Cesar; her four children, Angelica Rua-Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Bryan Garcia Rodriguez, and Jovani Garcia Rodriguez; her two grandchildren, Ottavio and Violetta Rodriguez; her siblings, Juan Antonio (Jennifer) Rodriguez, Jr., Fabiola (Michael) Hess, Hector (Celeste) Rodriguez, Victor (Kelsy Green) Rodriguez, and Maria DeJesus Rodriguez; her mother-in-law, Adelaide Rios Reyes; her father-in-law, Demetrio Garcia Soto; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; dear friends, including Larry Garcia, Tramar Collier, and Yuan Su, who were like sons to Carolina, and Pastor Gloria Nevarez.
