Carole J. Lawrence

Carole J. Lawrence, 83, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. 

Private burial is in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to any animal shelter in Carole’s memory.

The former Carole Jean Glonke was born May 11, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard and Irene (Morowski) Glonke. 

She enjoyed astrology. She was also obsessed with animals of all kinds and was always helping rescue animals in need.

Carole is survived by four children, Jeff (Debra) Lawrence of Tempe, Arizona, Cynthia (Jeff) Urmy of Bettendorf, Kristine Reagan of Cartersville, Georgia, and Cathie (Calvin) Craig of Fayette, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents.
