Carl H. Jourdan

Carl H. Jourdan, 81, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, February 8, 2018, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Services will be private, with cremation taking place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Carl was born October 7, 1936, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Erwin and Alma (Byers) Jourdan. He married Kathleen McFarland on July 8, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He owned and operated Columbia Decorating in Moline for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, playing pool and cards, and being with his family and friends.

Carl is survived by his wife, Kathy, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Curt and Rebecca Jourdan, and Kyle Jourdan, and a granddaughter, Kyndra Jourdan, all of Moline; and a special niece, Karen Voss of Bettendorf, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.
