Brandon D. Jones

Brandon D. “B” Jones, 38, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Monday, November 20, 2023, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12^th Street, Moline.  Visitation is one hour prior to services.  Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Brandon’s memory.

Born on February 21, 1985, to Billie Jones and John Pippins, Brandon's journey on this earth was one marked by resilience, love, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life.

Despite facing numerous health struggles throughout his life, Brandon approached each challenge with unwavering gratitude for the goodness that surrounded him. His spirit remained unbroken, and his resilience became an inspiration to all who knew him.

Brandon was a man of remarkable character—caring, loving, respectful, and compassionate. His kindness touched the lives of those fortunate enough to cross his path. His warm smile and gentle demeanor left an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family.

A lover of music, B found solace and joy in the melodies that resonated with his soul. His passion for the outdoors and nature was unparalleled, evident in his endless fascination with wildlife shows. Brandon could spend hours immersed in the wonders of the natural world.

Among his cherished pastimes was the simple joy of fishing, a shared bond he relished with his beloved son.

For B, family was the cornerstone of his existence. Above all else, he held a special place in his heart for his children, his mother, and the gatherings that brought the family together.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Billie Jones of Rock Island; his son, Brandon Jones, Jr.; his significant other, Liz Korthals of Rock Island; a step-daughter, Isabella Hernandez; three siblings, Ashley, Victor and Jerry Jones; four ½ siblings, Keyara, Rachel, Johnny, and Felicia Pippins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, John Pippins; a brother, Michael Jones; and a nephew, Dayqwon Jones.

As we bid farewell to Brandon Dupree Jones, let us remember him not with sorrow, but with the enduring warmth of his love and the countless memories he leaves behind. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire us to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones.
