Bonita J. Howard

Bonita J. Howard, 66, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Bonita Joyce Howard was born November 30, 1955, in Moline, the daughter of Silas and Shirley (Owens) Howard.

She loved everyone she met. Her love for Jesus Christ shined and she shared his love in all she did. She was creative and enjoyed expressing herself with yarn. She was fond of the writing of Laura Engalls Wilder.

Bonita is survived by her brother, Timothy Howard of Silvis, Illinois, her uncle, Buck (Carl) Owens, and a multitude of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
