Billy R. Cook

Billy R. Cook, Jr., 61, of Blue Grass, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Billy was born July 22, 1955, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Billy Sr. and Wilma Scotton Cook. He married Phyllis Sutton on July 12, 1980, in Davenport. He was a machinist for R. A. Jones, Davenport.

Billy is survived by his wife, Phyllis; a son, Robert Cook and his fiancée Jessica Lyons of Monticello, Iowa; three grandchildren; sisters, Connie Hiekens and Cheryl Kroeger, both of Davenport, and close friend, Zach Boutelle of Bettendorf.
