James B. Farber, 66, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, in his residence.
Private family services will be held. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, is entrusted with arrangements.
Jim was born October 1, 1941, in Moline, the son of Alvin W. and Carol (Cleaver) Farber. He graduated from Moline High School and attended the University of Illinois. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Jim is survived by an aunt, June Farber of Coal Valley, and cousins, Bill, Mike, and Lee Farber, all of Coal Valley, and Joyce Leddy of Pasadena, California.
