Augusto Cesar Aristud Aristud, 91, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory in Moline, Illinois, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
Augusto Cesar Aristud Aristud was born on May 26, 1935, in Puerto Rico, the son of Augusto Aristud and Secundina Aristud.
Augusto was a calm and quiet man who enjoyed being at home and spending time in nature. He loved animals, especially his dogs, and enjoyed relaxing in his hammock. He loved working outdoors, trimming the trees behind his home and picking their fruit—even climbing onto the roof when necessary to reach it.
He also loved to cook, especially for his family. Augusto was an avid coffee drinker who enjoyed a cup at least three times a day. He had a special love for cake and never discriminated when it came to what kind—if it was cake, he enjoyed it. When he was younger, he also enjoyed watching and betting on horse races.
Augusto is survived by his daughter, Saimara Rodriguez; son-in-law, Benny Molina; granddaughter, Shaira Santiago; and his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
