Arcelia Trevino De Chavez

Arcelia Trevino de Chavez, 73, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Monday, October 24, 2022, at home.

Services are at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2022, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, Illinois. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Following the service, the celebration of Arcelia will continue with food and drinks in the lower level of Trimble Pointe, City View Celebrations. Private burial will take place at a later date in Mexico. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Arcelia Trevino de Chavez. 

Arcelia was born April 22, 1949, in Rancho Santa Elena, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Amelida (Luna de Trevino) and Fidel Trevino. She married Jose Chavez.

She enjoyed cooking, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Chavez; her four children, Fidel (Jamie) Chavez, Jose (Michelle) Chavez, Jeronimo (Marissa) Chavez, and Araceli (Dell) Munn; her grandchildren, Dillon, Santana, Cereno, Maya, Taylor, Tre, Malayna, Karma, and Olivia; her great-grandchildren, Cassian, Alayah, Isaiah, Ace, and Eri Katalina; two sisters, and four brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents.
